Situated directly within the Killarney Motor Racing Circuit, Cape Town, South Africa, the Owen Ashley Auto Developments offices and workshop have been a permanent feature of the race track since early 1988. This close proximity to the racing fraternity for this period of time has resulted in Owen becoming a legend in the racing industry, providing a wealth of information for novices and national champions alike. Various vehicles, from your 1970 Datsun SSS to your Porsche 911 have passed through the workshop’s doors, been given the Owen Ashley “treatment” and exited as race ready machines. The workshop has direct access to the race track, which has proven to be immensely advantageous during the testing phases of new motor vehicles.

The specialised racing workshop is able to manufacture and engineer individually required parts and by keeping this process in-house, Owen Ashley guarantees top-quality, cost effective parts. The workshop includes a dedicated area to service and maintain the suspension systems of luxury road cars such as Porsche.

An advanced driver training program is also operated from these premises, with tuition prided by South African racing champion Neil Hawkins. For more information, please contact us.
